Drew Littman has a wide range of work experience in various organizations. Drew started their career as the Policy Director at the Office of Senator Barbara Boxer in 1993 and held the position until 1997. Drew then worked at Podesta Associates as a Principal from 1997 to 2004. From 2005 to 2009, Littman was an Adjunct Professor of Government at American University while also working as a Principal at Littman Associates. In 2009, they became the Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Al Franken and held the position until 2011. Littman then served as the Vice President of Government Relations at Solazyme, Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Drew subsequently joined Venn Strategies, LLC as a Principal from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, Littman worked as a Senior Counselor in the Immediate Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Currently, they are the Policy Director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a position they have held since 2017. Throughout their career, Littman has also demonstrated their commitment to reproductive health issues by serving on the Board of Directors for the Reproductive Health Technologies Project from 2012 to 2016.
Drew Littman completed their education at various institutions. Drew began their education at the Wheatley School, where they received their High School diploma in 1978. Four years later, in 1982, Littman enrolled at Brandeis University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Littman attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1982 to 1985, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree.
