Hannah Skewes has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in the communications and media industry. Hannah worked as a Communications Specialist and Communications Coordinator at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck from 2017 to the present.
Prior to that, Skewes worked as a Production & Multimedia Editor at Law Week Colorado from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for reporting, copyediting, and photographing events, among other duties.
Skewes also worked at Colorado Community Media as a Community Editor and Layout Designer from 2013 to 2014. Here, they managed story budgets, covered various beats, and produced graphic and photographic art.
Hannah co-owned and worked as a Photographer at Front Porch Photography from 2012 to 2013. Skewes also held the roles of Reporter/Layout Editor/Photographer at The Call News from 2012 to 2013 and News Director at Foley Onlooker - Gulf Coast Newspapers from 2011 to 2012.
Skewes began their career as a Reporter/Photographer at The Islander in 2011 and as an Athletic Media Relations Student Assistant at the University of South Alabama from 2007 to 2010. In this role, they served as the primary media contact for track and field and coordinated media interaction and event coverage. Hannah also worked as a Student Photographer, Sports Editor, and Senior Reporter for The Vanguard during their time at the University.
Hannah Skewes began their education by attending the University of South Alabama from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications - Print Journalism. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to further their education at the same institution in 2012. However, they did not complete their Master's degree in Communication.
