Reily Janson

Reily Janson is an engineer intern at BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG, focused on developing a Simulink plant model for electric powertrains to evaluate vehicle controllers in a Hardware-in-the-Loop setup. Previous experience includes a project intern role at Eaton, where assembly and testing of medium-voltage DC circuit breaker relays were performed. As Wind Tech II at NextEra Energy Resources, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and task prioritization for optimal production were key responsibilities. Early career roles include teaching English at Daewoo Primary School, working as a mechanic and tour guide at Mike's Bike Tours, and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer, where improvements in math education were achieved. Reily Janson holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Pitzer College.
