Umar Patel has a diverse work experience in various industries. Umar started their career as a steward at Blackburn Rovers Football Club from October 2018 to September 2019. Following that, Umar worked at Virgin Media as a Telecommunications Engineer, where they installed services at customer properties and focused on delivering exceptional customer service. Umar was responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and had a role in promoting new technology and deals. Umar's tenure at Virgin Media lasted from September 2019 to November 2022. Currently, they are working as a Delivery and Quality Assurance Engineer at Brsk, starting in November 2022.

Umar Patel began their education in 2017 at Cardinal Newman College Preston, where they focused on business studies. Umar attended this institution until 2019. In 2019, Umar enrolled in GK apprenticeships and pursued a Unified Communications Technician Level 3 degree in the field of Telecommunications Engineering. Umar completed their apprenticeship in 2021.
