Grégory Claeys

Grégory Claeys is the Director of the Economics Department at France Stratégie, overseeing a team of around 15 researchers and focusing on French and European economic policies. Previously, Claeys served as a Senior Fellow at Bruegel, contributing to research on European macroeconomics and governance while managing a junior research team. Claeys holds an Associate Professorship in Economics at Cnam, teaching macroeconomics, and has a diverse background that includes roles as a researcher and PhD student at the European University Institute, visiting researcher at the Central Bank of Chile, economist at Credit Agricole, and lecturer at Sciences Po. Claeys also has experience in financial auditing and economic analysis through positions at the French Embassy in Chicago and RSM Salustro Reydel. Claeys earned a PhD in Economics and multiple master's degrees from prestigious institutions, including HEC Paris and Université Paris Nanterre.
