Melissa Zainal Abidin

Melissa Zainal Abidin currently serves as the Finance Manager at Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad since October 2023. Prior to this role, extensive experience included key positions at Brunei Shell Petroleum from August 2004 to October 2023, such as Financial Controller, Head of Finance Operations, Head of Budget and Management Information, and various managerial roles focusing on finance for different assets and joint ventures. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Strategic Business Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University and has completed Chartered Management Accountant certification through The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Academic background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universiti Brunei Darussalam. A brief educational stint occurred at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2001.
