Ajey Walavalkar

Ajey Walavalkar has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Ajey currently serves as the VP of Data Science at Bruviti since 2018. Prior to that, in 2018, they worked as an Independent CFD Consultant at Combustion CFD Consultant. From 2014 to 2017, they held multiple roles at Gexcon, including President and Acting General Manager, where they focused on growing the organization and developing the market for consulting services and software sale in India. Before that, from 2010 to 2014, they worked at ANSYS, Inc. as a Regional Support and Services Manager, responsible for managing a team of engineers and developing CFD technology solutions. Ajey also worked at Ansys Fluent India Pvt. Ltd. as a Regional Support and Services Manager from 2008 to 2010, and as a Team Leader at Ansys Fluent India Pvt. Ltd. from 2007 to 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked at Fluent India Pvt. Ltd. as a Lead Engineer from 2002 to 2006, conducting engineering analysis and managing consulting projects. Prior to that, they were a Senior Engineer at Carrier Corporation in the Heat Transfer and Combustion group, and also had a graduate internship at Carrier Corporation.

Ajey Walavalkar completed their education in Mechanical Engineering with a PhD from Penn State University, specializing in Thermal and Fluid Sciences. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and Govt College of Engineering, Pune. Ajey completed their high school education at Fergusson College after attending Sou Vimalabai Garware High School, Pune. In addition to their formal education, Ajey Walavalkar also obtained a FLACS Foundation Certificate from GexCon AS in August 2017.
