Audrey Marescaux

Audrey Marescaux is an accomplished engineer and water quality expert with extensive experience in environmental management and research. Currently serving at Bruxelles Environnement - Leefmilieu Brussel since July 2019, Audrey has played a crucial role in developing water management policies, analyzing water quality, and coordinating the SmartWater project for extensive water monitoring. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at IPSL-Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace focusing on hydrodynamic modeling, and early-stage research during a PhD in biogeosciences which concentrated on carbon and nitrogen cycles. Additional roles encompass fieldwork assistance with Aqualinc Research Limited and significant contributions through a Master’s thesis at École polytechnique de Bruxelles. Audrey holds a PhD from Sorbonne Université and Master's degrees from Université libre de Bruxelles and École de Bioingénierie de Bruxelles.
