Danielle Caissie has extensive experience in the field of dietetics, currently serving as the Professional Practice Leader for Dietitians at Bruyère since September 1990. In this role, Danielle represents the dietitian group on an Allied Health multi-disciplinary practice support team, focusing on both multidisciplinary and discipline-specific projects to enhance professional practice across hospital programs. Previous positions include Registered Dietitian, where responsibilities included nutrition assessment and management for complex continuing care patients, particularly in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, as well as serving as Registered Dietitian Practice Support Leader. Danielle also held the position of Interim Professional Leader and worked as an on-call Registered Dietitian at Ottawa General Hospital from 1991 to 1994. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Université de Moncton and studies at the University of New Brunswick.
