Tyler Way has four years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Space Analyst for BryceTech. In 2020, they were a Space Policy Intern for The Aerospace Corporation. In 2019, they were an Aerospace Security Intern for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In 2018, they were a Policy Research Intern for the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies.

Tyler Way attended Bowling Green State University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies. Tyler then attended The George Washington University from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Science and Technology Policy.
