Joanna Sidhu is the VP of Community & Product Marketing at BRYTER. Joanna has over 10 years of experience working in the legal industry. Joanna started their career as a trainee solicitor at Ashurst, one of the world's largest law firms. Joanna then worked as an associate in the firm's structured finance, corporate, and dispute resolution groups in London and Hong Kong. After a seven-month secondment at Goldman Sachs, Joanna joined CrowdJustice as Head of UK. At CrowdJustice, they were responsible for growing the company's UK operations and overseeing its partnerships with legal organizations. Joanna then joined BRYTER as Head of BRYTER Open, a program that gives non-profits and academic institutions access to the BRYTER platform for free. In their current role as VP of Community & Product Marketing, Joanna is responsible for BRYTER's marketing strategy and execution.
Joanna Sidhu attended the University of Oxford from 2004 to 2007, where they studied for a BA in Jurisprudence (Law). Joanna was involved in several extracurricular activities while at Oxford, including serving as Vice President and Treasurer of the Junior Common Room (JCR) and as President of the Jesus College Law Society. Joanna also rowed for the Women's 1st VIII. After graduation, they attended BPP Law School to complete their Legal Practice Course, which they did from 2008 to 2009. Prior to attending Oxford, they spent two years at London Central Secondary School.
