Jean Pimmel

Jean Pimmel is a Site Reliability Engineer at Blue Sentry Cloud since July 2021, specializing in monitoring and maintaining high availability of cloud systems/services with a focus on AWS. Responsibilities include infrastructure management using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, participating in an on-call schedule with tools like VictorOps/Splunk On-Call and Jira, troubleshooting issues, and creating documentation to aid future incident resolution. Previously, Jean held an internship as a CofA Intern at Nexteer Automotive from September 2019 to March 2020, where analysis of failures in products and processes was conducted. Jean holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, earned between 2014 and 2020.
