Leonard Svensson

Leonard Svensson is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Of-Counsel at Gorman IP Law, APC since 2022, Leonard focuses on assisting clients with IP strategy and securing IP protection both in the United States and internationally. Leonard has been with Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP since November 1979, where responsibilities include patent preparation, prosecution, and counseling on infringement and validity issues, alongside representing various companies in patent-related matters. As the founder of Svensson BiotechPharma IP from January 2015 to July 2023, Leonard acted as an expert witness in biotech and pharmaceutical patent cases. Leonard holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland.
