George Anyfantis

George Anyfantis is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Precision Medicine and General Manager of the Genomics Facility at BSRC Alexander Fleming since March 2023. Responsibilities include managing the facility's services in Next Generation Sequencing and contributing to a National Network of Molecular Oncology program focused on NGS data generation and analysis. Previously, George served as a Research Technician at Newcastle University from December 2013 to August 2017, and held multiple technical support roles at various institutions, including a Senior Technician position at the University of Liverpool until February 2023. Throughout the career, contributions have included experimental work on cell cultures, pluripotency monitoring, and support for research projects related to stem cell biology and lipid signaling.
