Walter Cassity, MPA/HCA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Walter began their career at Baylor University Medical Center in 1997 as a Safety Technician, a role they held until 2001. Walter then became a Safety Manager at the same organization from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Baylor Scott & White Health where they served as the Corporate Director of Environmental Safety & Emergency Management until 2013. From 2013 to 2020, they held the position of System Vice President at Baylor Scott & White Health. Currently, Walter Cassity holds the role of Senior Vice President at the same organization.
Walter Cassity, MPA/HCA, completed their Executive Masters in Healthcare Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued Industrial Safety at the same university from 2001 to 2004. Walter also earned a degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS - Haz Mat) from Texas State Technical College, where they attended from 1995 to 1997.
