Liz Lopez Cepero

Liz Lopez Cepero has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Liz is currently serving as the SVP, Chief Growth Officer at Baylor Scott & White Health Plan. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Government Programs at the same company. Before joining Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, Liz worked as the Vice President, Medicare Member Experience at Centene Corporation and as the Vice President, Medicare Operations and Business Strategy at Superior HealthPlan. Liz also served as the Senior Vice President Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer at ENVOLVE PEOPLECARE, INC and as the Vice President, Compliance at Cenpatico. Liz's earlier career includes roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where they held various positions such as Associate Regional Administrator, Division for Medicare Health Plans Operation, Branch Manager, Customer Relations, Division for Medicare Health Plans Operations, Acting Director, Division for Compliance Policy Oversight, Program Compliance and Oversight Group, and Technical Advisor, Division for Medicare Health Plans Operations.

Liz Lopez Cepero holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and World Political Economy from DePaul University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Liz further pursued their education at DePaul University College of Law, where they completed their Juris Doctorate degree from 1998 to 2001. Later, Liz Lopez Cepero attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where they acquired their LL.M. (Masters of Law) in Health Law from 2002 to 2003.
