Aidan Whelan

Aidan Whelan has extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking industry, currently serving as a Solutions Architect specializing in SDWAN and Networking at BT Ireland since 2002. Aidan's role includes providing consultancy, design, development, integration, and support services to global multinational corporations. Previous experience includes a position as Senior Sale Engineer and Lead Technical Design Engineer, where Aidan delivered high-quality technical solutions tailored to customer data network requirements. Prior to BT Ireland, Aidan was a Senior Programme Manager at Esat Telecom, managing programs for voice, data, and internet services, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance. Aidan holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from Technological University Dublin and a B.Eng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from The University of Bolton, alongside a Diploma in Engineering from Waterford Institute of Technology.
