Lauren Shelly

Lauren Shelly is an experienced professional in the field of social work and child welfare. Currently serving as a Foster Care Case Manager at The Buckeye Ranch since April 2022, Lauren previously held various roles at Franklin County Children Services from October 2015 to April 2022, including Child Welfare Caseworker for both Intake/Screening and Ongoing services. Earlier experience includes a Foster Care Intern position at The Buckeye Ranch and roles as a Youth Mentor at Kaleidoscope Youth Center and a Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Additional background includes customer service and supervisory roles at GameStop and ushering at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Lauren earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Capital University after completing general studies at Montgomery College.
