Margrit Springer

Margrit received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Denison University. She began her career at The Buckeye Ranch in 2005 as a Youth Leader. Margrit has held many roles across Buckeye Ranch programs to include Day Treatment Clinician, Family Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, and Senior Clinical Manager within the Admissions and Engagement Department. This department includes diverse teams that complete assessment and referral to mental health services, residential admissions, administrative support, community engagement and marketing. Margrit also maintains oversight of the Transportation Department. In 2016, Margrit and her team transformed the front door of the agency improving access to care for families seeking mental health services with the Buckeye Ranch through the implementation of Same Day Access within Admissions and Engagement. In 2019, Margrit began oversight of both the Admissions and Engagement Department and Nursing and Medication Management.
