Andrea Galliano Sparks

Andrea Galliano Sparks is an experienced professional in the fields of public policy, child protection, and advocacy, currently serving as the Director of Government and Strategic Relations for Buckner International since February 2022. Previously, Andrea was the founding Director of the Child Sex Trafficking Team for the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, leading initiatives that positioned Texas as a national leader in addressing child sexual exploitation. Additional roles include Executive Director at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, where efforts focused on protecting children from abduction and abuse, and Director of Public Affairs at Texas CASA, overseeing policy advocacy. Andrea has a legal background as an attorney representing children and families, and has held a staff attorney position at the Texas Supreme Court.
