George Spurling

George Spurling is the Co-Founder and CEO of Budgie Health, a company dedicated to simplifying healthcare interactions for Americans, a role held since September 2021. Prior to this, George served as the VP and Head of Business Development at Cedar from September 2018 to July 2021, and as Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Oscar Health from September 2015 to August 2018. George's earlier experience includes positions as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, Health Economist for the Bermuda Government, and Global Health Consultant at Crown Agents. George holds an MBA in Multinational Management from The Wharton School, an MSc in International Health Policy from The London School of Economics, and a BA in Economics and Politics from The University of Edinburgh.
