Thomas Johansen

Thomas Johansen is an accomplished professional specializing in information security, with significant experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Fagansvarlig informasjonssikkerhet at Bufdir since April 2022, Thomas oversees the management and control of information security within a large agency of approximately 7,500 employees. Prior to this, Thomas led Hosting Operations at Visma Exso from May 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included ensuring operational continuity and managing security measures. With a strong background in IT management, Thomas held various roles at Eika between 2010 and 2018, including IT Leader and IT Consultant, focusing on strategy, operational management, and compliance. Earlier career experiences also included serving in the Norwegian Armed Forces and working as a security officer at Hafslund. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in IT and Management from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and IT Management from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
