Desaree Festa is a team sport psychologist with the Buffalo Bills. Prior to their current position, they worked as a consulting sport psychologist for the Buffalo Sabres, Stewart-Haas Racing, Appalachian State University, Roush Fenway Racing, and the Charlotte Checkers. Desaree also worked as a treating clinician for substance abuse for the NFL and as a consulting sport psychologist for the Charlotte Hornets. Desaree began their career as a consulting athletic department sport psychologist for UNC Charlotte before becoming the director of Mind Over Body and a performance psychologist at Southeast Psych.
Desaree Festa received their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sport & Coaching from Eastern University. Desaree then went on to receive their Master of Science in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy in Combined Program in Counseling Psychology & School Psychology from Florida State University. Desaree completed their Pre-Doctoral Internship in Counseling Psychology with Sport Psychology Emphasis from William & Mary.
