Megan Kane

Megan Kane has diverse work experience in various industries. Megan started their career as a medical scribe at Lakeshore Primary Care Associates, LLP, where they assisted with patient notes and observed procedures. Megan then worked as a summer camp counselor at Village of Hamburg Recreation, supervising and ensuring the safety of children during activities and field trips. Megan also served as a server assistant at The Grange Community Kitchen and as a COVID entry screener at Lakeshore Primary Care Associates, LLP during the height of the pandemic.

Megan gained valuable customer service skills while working as a waitress at Hoak's Lakeshore Restaurant, where they managed multiple tables in a fast-paced environment.

At the University at Buffalo, Megan worked as a teaching assistant for the BIO420 Cytogenetics Lab, assisting in lab setup, procedures, and safety monitoring.

Currently, Megan is a medical assistant at Buffalo Medical Group, where they support physicians in various specialties and acts as a liaison between patients and providers using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Megan Kane attended Hamburg High School from 2014 to 2018, earning an Advanced Regents Diploma. Megan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo from 2018 to 2022.
