Akshay Roy

Akshay Roy has extensive work experience as a Cyber Security Researcher. Akshay has conducted bug hunting and security assessments in various organizations, including Bugcrowd, YesWeHack, Intigriti, and HackerOne. Akshay has utilized manual testing, automated scanning tools, and source code analysis to identify vulnerabilities in web applications, networks, and systems. Akshay has collaborated closely with development and security teams to address identified security flaws promptly, providing guidance on remediation and mitigation strategies. Akshay is skilled in using tools and techniques such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap for comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

Akshay Roy obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Indira Gandhi National Open University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Become a Penetration Tester," "Become an IT Security Specialist," "Cybersecurity Fundamentals," "Become an Ethical Hacker," "Digital Forensics Essentials (DFE)," "Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE)," "Master the OWASP Top 10," "Network Defense Essentials (NDE)," and "(ISC)² Candidate."
