Emad Shawky

Emad Shawky has a strong background in information security and cybersecurity. Emad is currently working as an Information Security Engineer at Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services, where they are responsible for conducting penetration testing and managing requests from the banking sector and cybersecurity vendors. Prior to this, Emad worked as a Web Application Penetration Tester at HackerOne and Bugcrowd, helping companies like IBM, U.S. Dell, Indeed, and Cisco Merak secure their websites. Emad also has experience as a Cyber Security Engineer at Mega Trust Group and ProCrew. Earlier in their career, Emad worked as a Back End Developer at Code Systems, where they developed systems and ERP for gyms, centers, and restaurants.

Emad Shawky obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering from the Alexandria Higher Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) between 2016 and 2021. Prior to attending AIET, Emad attended Hatem Idress English language school from 2001 to 2015, but no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
