Hossam E. Ahmed

Hossam E. Ahmed has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Hossam E. started their career in 2016 as a Google ADS Specialist at Horizon PPC LLC, where they planned and executed PPC initiatives to increase sales and brand awareness. In 2018, they worked as a Security Researcher at Bugcrowd, participating in Bug bounty Programs and scoring bounties on various organizations and government agencies. Hossam then joined Offensive Security as a Cyber Security Specialist in 2018 and later joined Al7arefa as a Penetration Tester in 2019.

In 2021, Hossam transitioned to a different role as a Tier 2 Technical Support Professional at Concentrix, where they provided technical support to customers and focused on improving customer satisfaction. Hossam E. then moved to ArkanHouse in 2022, initially working as a Penetration Tester and later taking on the role of Cyber Security Consultant. In this role, they handled security threats, performed manual/automated testing tasks, and developed complex features to maintain security with minimal impact on functionality.

Currently, Hossam is working at PROTECT IT FZCO as a Cyber Security Specialist starting from March 2023.

Hossam E. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Cairo University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field. In July 2023, Hossam acquired the certifications "Critical Infrastructure Protection Fundamentals" from OPSWAT, "Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 3: Certified Associate" from Fortinet, and "OPSWAT Endpoint Compliance Associate" from OPSWAT. In March 2023, they obtained the "Foundation Level Threat intelligence Analyst" certification from arcX, and in January 2023, they completed the "Strategic Cybersecurity Management" program offered by AttackIQ. Prior to that, in April 2022, Hossam completed the "Leadership and Team Development Program" offered by the International Business Management Institute (IBMI). In terms of earlier certifications, they obtained the "CyberOps Associate" certification from Cisco in December 2021 and completed the "Google IT Support Specialization" program offered by Google in September 2021. In the same month, they also obtained certifications in "IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts" and "System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services" from Coursera. Prior to these, Hossam obtained the "Technical Support Fundamentals" certification from Google and the "Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate" certification from Fortinet, both in July 2021.
