Vikas Anand

Vikas Anand has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. In 2023, they joined Bugcrowd and HackerOne as a Security Researcher, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, in 2022, they worked as a Bug Bounty Hunter independently. In 2021, they had roles as a CTF Player at Hack The Box and TryHackMe, and also participated in a Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship with Haryana Police. Overall, Vikas Anand has demonstrated a strong interest and involvement in cybersecurity through their various positions and experiences.

Vikas Anand completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Application (BCA) from TNB College, Bhagalpur, from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their 12th grade education in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) at Kendriya Vidyalaya Jamalpur in 2018 and 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Vikas Anand has obtained several certifications and participated in various events. Vikas obtained a Certificate of Achievement from EC-Council in January 2023, and a Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP) certification from The SecOps Group in March 2023. Vikas also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the University of Cambridge and a Letter of Appreciation from Drexel University in November 2022.

Furthermore, Vikas Anand participated in an offline Hackathon organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) in April 2023. Vikas also attended an offline Security Conference organized by the DEF CON Delhi Group in August 2022 and another one organized by Security BSides Ahmedabad in November 2021. Vikas participated in a Hackathon conducted by the Indian Army in February 2022 and completed a FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME on INFORMATION & CYBER SECURITY at Guru Jambheshwar University in September 2021. Additionally, they completed a summer internship on Cyber Security with the Gurugram Police in June 2021.
