Monica Schroeder

Monica Schroeder is an experienced professional in global advocacy and program management, currently serving as the Director of Global Advocacy at Build Change since March 2021. Prior roles include Associate Director of Global Advocacy at Counterpart International, where responsibilities involved managing US-funded programs focused on transparency and civil society development in multiple countries. Previous positions also include Program Manager, Senior Program Officer, and Program Officer at Counterpart International, Researcher at Investigative Group International, and Program Coordinator at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, among others. Monica's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Government with a concentration in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Notre Dame.
