Sami Kivensalo has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sami is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Builderhead, a construction management software company. Earlier in their career, Sami was a Sales Project Manager at Steam Republic, focused on launching a mobile social media service in the US market. Sami also ran their own business as a Sales Agent, selling various insurances.

Sami's professional journey started as a Marketing Assistant at Playground Music Scandinavia, where they produced promotional material for artists. Prior to that, they had various part-time jobs during their early years, including a clerk at a local grocery store, factory assembly worker, shop assistant, and maintenance assistant.

Sami Kivensalo has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended Lammi Upper Secondary School, where they obtained their Marticulation Examination degree in 2004. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, they enrolled in The Finnish Defence Forces, pursuing a degree in Military Police.

In 2005, Sami entered Tampere University of Applied Sciences, dedicating himself to Entrepreneurship in the Bachelor of Business Administration program. Sami completed this program in 2008.

In the same year, they briefly attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study.

In 2018, Sami obtained a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki.
