Joe Barnes

Joe Barnes currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Sourcing and Supply Chain at Builders FirstSource, overseeing sourcing, supply chain, purchasing, and fleet activities. Prior to this role, Joe was instrumental in the merger of BMC Stock Holdings and Builders FirstSource, leading the integration of sourcing and supply chain functions. At BMC, Joe held the position of Senior Vice President for Operations and Supply Chain, where accountability included coaching and developing a high-performing team in various supply chain disciplines. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at ProBuild, where significant financial and operational turnarounds were achieved, and consulting roles at Coombs & Associates, providing strategic direction and operational expertise. Joe holds an M.B.A. from Western Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State University, Chico.
