Kristin George Bagdanov

Kristin George Bagdanov, PhD, serves as the Senior Manager of Policy Research at the Building Decarbonization Coalition since January 2021, where previous roles included Manager of Policy Research and Knowledge Sharing and Senior Research Associate. Kristin has extensive experience in academia, holding the position of Associate Instructor at the University of California, Davis from August 2016 to August 2022. Additionally, Kristin was a Clean Energy Leadership Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and served as the Senior Poetry Editor for Ruminate Magazine from September 2014 to August 2020. Kristin began a career in education and publishing as a Composition and Creative Writing Instructor at Colorado State University and as an Associate Editor for the Colorado Review. Early professional experience includes working as a Development Coordinator at Sarah House. Academically, Kristin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Davis, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Westmont College.
