Bill Spirer

Bill Spirer is an experienced educational leader and attorney, currently serving as the Founder and Executive Director of Springfield Prep Charter School, an inclusive K-8 public charter school emphasizing rigorous academics and character development. Additionally, Bill is a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools, focusing on urban charter school creation and leadership. Past roles include Dean of Students at Uncommon Schools, Staff Attorney in the Children and Family Law Division at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Summer Associate at Verrill Dana, LLP, Teacher at The Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice, and Corps Member with Teach for America. Bill holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College, and a Master in the Science of Teaching from Pace University.
