Marvens Pierre

Marvens Pierre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and operations. Currently serving as the Manager of Events and Operations at BES since August 2022, Marvens previously held the role of Development Coordinator at Barrio Logan College Institute from March 2022 to August 2022. Prior experience includes graduate assistant roles at the University of San Diego, where Marvens contributed to The Commons and the Black Student Resource Commons from July 2020 to March 2022, and served as an instructor at the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences. Marvens was also recognized as a Newman Civic Fellow with Campus Compact from September 2019 to May 2020. Additional roles include Program Coordinator and Public Relations Coordinator at Student Bridges Agency and various positions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, including Teaching Assistant and Orientation Team Specialist. Marvens holds a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
