Steven Morton

Steven Morton has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Controller at Building Material Distributors, Inc. since May 2016, overseeing all financial aspects including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and payroll, as well as due diligence for acquisitions. Previously, Steven held roles such as Accounting Manager and Project Manager, Finance at Greenleaf Power from October 2010 to April 2016, where responsibilities included managing finance projects, integration of acquisitions, and running insurance and IT programs. Prior positions include Controller at Metallic Ventures, Inc. and Hospital Housekeeping Systems, as well as Assistant Manager of Financial Reporting at Newmont Mining Corporation. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno, earned between 1995 and 1999.
