Marco Both

Marco Both has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2012. In that year, they were a Co-funder and Executive Director at Fireproof Engenharia Sistemas de Segurança contra Incêndio e Pânico and a Mobile Developer at FML SOC. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Software Developer Trainee and Teaching Assistant at UNIFEI, a Performance Analyst at The University of Alabama EcoCAR, and a Scholarship Holder at CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior. In 2016, they worked as a Controls Engineer at Proterra Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Machine Learning Engineer (DL) at BMW Group, where they developed a driver distraction detection algorithm with deep learning and collaborated with the LRZ Centre for supercomputing. In 2017, they held three roles at Building Radar: Head Of Engineering, Team Lead and Product Manager - Data & AI, and Data Engineer.

Marco Both completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Universidade Federal de Itajubá from 2011 to 2016. Marco then attended The University of Alabama from 2015 to 2016, studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. Marco went on to pursue a Master of Science in Informatics at Technical University of Munich from 2017 to 2019.
