Dmitry Mokretsov

Dmitry Mokretsov has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dmitry started their career as an Automation Department Specialist at Regional Credit Bank in 2005. Dmitry then worked as the Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Handwerksoft where they were responsible for leading the department and overseeing the design and development of an ERP system.

In 2008, Dmitry joined Uralsib as a Lead Specialist, where they focused on database development, software development, and supporting the automated banking system. Dmitry also worked as an Integration Specialist/Consultant at Miratorg, where they contributed to integration projects.

From 2009 to 2013, they worked at Sodrugestvo as a Lead Developer, managing projects, interacting with customers, and designing and developing various software systems. Dmitry also worked on data warehousing and OLAP cube development.

At LLC Internet Solutions (Ozon.ru), Dmitry served as an Information Systems Developer, where they were responsible for back-end and front-end development, database design, and development. Dmitry also fulfilled the role of a SCRUM master.

From 2014 to 2016, Dmitry worked at Diageo as a Senior Business Intelligence Expert/Software and Database Engineer. Dmitry was involved in analytical systems design, development of sales web portals, and providing recommendations for data analysis and business process improvement.

At Visma, Dmitry worked from 2016 to 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead. Dmitry led a team of five people, contributed to multiple projects, and collaborated with different developer teams. Dmitry also played a key role in migrating applications to a microservice architecture.

Currently, Dmitry is employed at BuildingMinds as a Team Lead/Backend Technical Lead. Their responsibilities include overseeing projects, introducing practices to increase productivity and reduce development costs, and providing engineering expertise to help executives make informed decisions.

Dmitry Mokretsov earned a Bachelor's Degree in Software Development from Earthinators Climate School, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including "Up and Running with ASP.NET 5" from LinkedIn in October 2016, "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" and "MS: Programming in C#" from Microsoft in November 2015, and "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" from Scrum Alliance in April 2020.
