Ibrahim Nasser

Ibrahim Nasser has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Ibrahim is currently working as a Full-stack Developer at BuildingMinds since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Prima Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2021 to May 2022. In this role, they developed programs to migrate and integrate data from insurance providers with the Prima Analytics platform. Ibrahim also analyzed, cleaned, and curated the data to ensure its suitability for use and enhanced the data integration platform by implementing new features and enhancements.

Before Prima Solutions, Ibrahim worked as a Professional Services Consultant at CCI (Comprehensive Computing Innovations) from September 2019 to November 2020. In this role, they deployed and integrated VMware Pulse IoT Center into the systems of a regional client. Ibrahim used various tools and technologies such as VMware Pulse IoTC agent, Liota, Python scripts, JavaScript, and Node-RED to onboard and connect sensors, extract metrics, and develop a dashboard displaying sensor states and alerts.

Prior to that, Ibrahim was a Software Developer at Aqeed from July 2018 to May 2019. Here, they developed a script to automatically update the Aqeed Vehicle Database and integrated the platform with multiple insurance provider APIs and services. Ibrahim also implemented new features and enhanced existing backend modules throughout the insurance aggregation process.

Earlier in their career, Ibrahim worked as a Junior Software Developer at EQLIM from October 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they built an administrative web environment and a payment platform for Eqlim's public risk intelligence product. Ibrahim also organized, stored, and communicated data between different components of the platform.

Ibrahim began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Cookpad MENA in June 2016, where they developed and improved a deep learning model for image classification using TensorFlow. Ibrahim also prepared datasets for training and testing the model performance.

Prior to that, they worked as a Web Development Intern at GIRMS from December 2015 to January 2016. In this role, they designed and developed the website using HTML, CSS, and WordPress. Ibrahim also implemented different functionalities involving information extraction and retrieval using PHP and researched ways to improve the website's design and functionality.

Ibrahim Nasser completed their education at the American University of Beirut, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer and Communications Engineering. Ibrahim attended the university from 2012 until 2016.
