Ben Mickey

Ben Mickey has a diverse work experience in product management and operations. Ben is currently a Partner & Co-Founder as well as the Head of Product & Operations at BUILT and Vaco. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Cognizant, Bright Wolf, and Prolific Interactive. Ben also served as a Product Owner at Fidelity Investments and a Product Director at Smashing Boxes. Additionally, Ben has experience in financial modeling and analysis, as they worked as a consultant and co-founder at Iron | Harbor, providing services to local companies. Ben also worked as a Financial Consultant at Barling Bay, where they focused on developing financial models and analyzing budgets for government contracts.

Ben Mickey completed a Graduate Foundations Program in Computer Science at Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they also pursued an English Minor. Ben further obtained a CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2015. Moreover, they earned a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
