Jeffrey Ng

Jeffrey Ng has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Jeffrey is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO/CSO at Built AI since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Knowledge Officer starting from March 2018. In 2017, they joined CognitionX as a member of the Advisory Board, where they brought together thought leaders from various industries to discuss the impact of AI. Jeffrey also served on the Advisory Board for Bioengineering at Imperial College London from June 2017. In 2016, Jeffrey founded AI Reki, and they have been a Speaker and Panelist on AI, entrepreneurship, and startups since 2014. From November 2018 to August 2021, they held the position of Chief Scientific Officer/Managing Director of AI Sector at Founders Factory. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Scientist at Founders Factory from December 2016 to November 2018. Jeffrey has also been a Board Member at nate, an AI startup, from October 2018 to August 2021. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at Chosen AI from January 2018 to June 2020. Jeffrey's advisory roles include working with wearehuman.io from January 2018 to January 2019.

Jeffrey Ng earned a PhD in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from Queen Mary University of London, completing their studies from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc (Hons. 1st) in Computer Science with Business Studies from Queen Mary University of London from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016.
