Annie Shortland has a diverse range of work experience. Annie started their career as a Design Intern at Karen Millen in 2017. Annie then worked as a Design Assistant at J H Zane, where they were responsible for creating technical drawings and supporting the design team in various tasks.
In 2018, Annie worked as a Fashion Assistant at ROKSANDA for a brief period. Following that, they joined the fashion brand ROKSANDA again in 2019 as a Fashion Assistant.
Annie then joined Brora Ltd as a Design Assistant in 2020, where they were involved in researching and curating mood boards, sourcing prints, and liaising with the factory. In the same year, they also worked at Foodshed as a Social Media Communications Coordinator, where they designed and implemented social media strategies and tracked engagement.
In 2021, Annie worked at BBC Studios as a Costume Assistant, SA Dresser, and Principle Dresser. Annie'sresponsibilities included dressing and assisting with costumes for productions.
In 2022, Annie joined dentsu international as a PR/Content Assistant, where they assisted with PR and content-related tasks. Annie also worked at The Grapevine Newsletter as an Editorial Assistant, contributing to the editorial department.
Currently, Annie is working at Builtvisible as a Digital PR Executive, where they are responsible for executing digital PR strategies.
Annie Shortland attended Norwich University of the Arts from 2016 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion. During their time at the university, their field of study focused on Fashion. In October 2020, Annie obtained a certification in Print and Embroidery Design from UAL Online Short Courses.
