Nick Barry has held a variety of roles in the design and teaching industries since 2008. Nick began their career as an ESL English Teacher at EF Education First in 2008 and then moved on to become a Graphic Designer at Urbanatomy Media in 2009. In 2011, they worked as a Graphic Designer for Peace for Humanity, where they designed promotional material and rebranded the non-profit's identity. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Graphic Designer at Kym Abrams Design and a Volunteer at the Chicago Design Museum. Nick then worked as an Art Director and Senior Art Director at Augustine from 2013 to 2016 before becoming a Printmaker/Owner at Sacmementos in 2016. In 2017, they became the Design Director and Senior Designer at Bukwild, where they were the creative lead on interactive digital and branding projects for clients such as SISTER, CLIF Bar, Pandora, SXM Media, Kiva Confections, Kittyhawk, King Arthur Flour, Amplitude, Happy Family Organics, California Olive Ranch, DripDrop ORS, and Infotech.
Nick Barry completed their education history with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from De Montfort University between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Mandarin Chinese from South China Normal University between 2009 and 2010. Nick also obtained an HND in Graphic Design with Multimedia from Weymouth College between 2004 and 2006. Finally, they completed their A/AS Levels in Graphic Design, Photography, and Fine Art from Weymouth College between 2002 and 2004.
