Nicole Tidwell

Senior Director, New Business at Bully Pulpit Interactive

Nicole Tidwell is the Senior Director of New Business at Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI), where she manages the business development process.

Prior to joining BPI, Nicole was the Senior Director of Outreach & Engagement at the Antibiotic Resistance Action Center (ARAC) at George Washington University. Nicole helped launch ARAC, where she led strategic communications and advocacy activities aimed at drawing attention to the global crisis of antibiotic resistance.

Before ARAC, Nicole managed the Antibiotic Resistance project at The Pew Charitable Trusts, which focused on ending the overuse of antibiotics in people and animals. During her time at ARAC and Pew, antibiotic resistance went from a once obscure issue to one that was routinely covered in the news, resulting in increased public awareness, unique partnerships in the public and private sector, and the adoption of groundbreaking antibiotic stewardship programs and policies at the federal and state level and within the marketplace.

Previously, Nicole was a senior program manager at the Communications Consortium Media Center where she worked on a host of projects, including building a supportive public climate for global reproductive health and rights programs worldwide and raising awareness about issues that affect low-income workers and the need for living wages. Nicole also consulted for several years with the National Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities.

Nicole graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree and Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies with a master’s degree in International Relations and Economics.
