Tom Pye

Tom Pye serves as a Digital Systems Developer at Bulten Group since October 2018, focusing on value management of a €150m portfolio to enhance performance while minimizing costs and environmental impact. Responsibilities include collaborating with suppliers for innovation and developing efficient processes. Notably, Tom has consistently exceeded targets, achieved a 20% reduction in freight costs on projects, and standardized project workflows for faster delivery. Previously, Tom held various roles at DESTACO from June 2014 to September 2018, culminating in the position of European Programme Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating global teams and achieving sales targets. Early career experiences include consulting in the automotive industry and developing automation standards for BMW Group, marked by significant reductions in build times and enhanced project management practices. Tom holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
