Kostas Kononovas

Kostas Kononovas is a Senior UX Researcher currently at Bumble Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Kostas served as the first UX researcher at Instagram's London office from February 2020 to August 2023, where the UX research function was established and monetization initiatives were launched, focusing on affiliate marketing and creator ads. Prior experience includes roles as Lead User Researcher at RBS, Senior User Researcher at Government Digital Service, and Strategic Analyst at Macmillan Cancer Support, where user needs and data analysis informed business decisions and strategy. Additional positions include Research Coordinator at British Red Cross, Consultation and Intelligence Officer at Greater London Authority, Research Associate at University College London, and Junior Fellow at the United Nations. Kostas holds a Master's degree in Social and Cultural Psychology from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
