Saiyid Jafari

Saiyid Jafari has a strong work experience in finance and accounting. Saiyid started their career at PwC as an Audit Staff, where they worked on planning, supervision, and assessment of business and audit risks for clients. Saiyid then progressed to the role of Manager - Assurance, where they led and coordinated services for a portfolio of clients and ensured high-quality and timely delivery of services. Saiyid also gained experience in financial reporting and IFRS compliance during their time at Emirates, where they held positions as Manager IFRS and Reporting, and Manager Group Financial Reporting. In these roles, they evaluated the impact of IFRS on the Group, prepared financial statements, and identified and analyzed areas of risk in different business areas. Saiyid's most recent position was at Brookfield Renewable, where they served as a Senior Manager, Consolidations, overseeing the consolidation process. Currently, they are working as the Head of Consolidations at Bumble.

Saiyid Jafari obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Karachi University from the years 2000 to 2003. Saiyid then pursued further education and earned the title of Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan between 2000 and 2007. In 2017, Saiyid Jafari engaged in professional development by completing the CPA, CA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in the field of Accounting and Finance.
