Ulrich Schneider

Ulrich Schneider has extensive work experience in the field of forensic investigation and development of document examination methods. Ulrich has worked in various roles at the Bundeskriminalamt, including as a Scientific Director and later as a lieutenant colonel. Their responsibilities included examining and developing forensic methods for documents, advising the national government, and participating in national and international committees and standardization work. Prior to their work at the Bundeskriminalamt, Schneider worked as a Project Leader in research and development at both Heraeus Tenevo Inc and Heraeus. Ulrich also served as a Visiting Research Scientist at Synchrotron SOLEIL. Schneider began their career as a Scientific Employee at Universität Augsburg.

Ulrich Schneider received their Abitur from Liebigschule - Gymnasium in 1990. Ulrich then went on to earn a Diplom in Physik from Technische Universität Darmstadt in 1996. In 2000, they obtained their Dr. rer. nat. degree in Festkörperphysik from the University of Augsburg.
