Marja Koenders - de Vries

Marja Koenders - de Vries is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple global companies. Currently serving as the VP and Chief Tax Officer at Bunge since March 2017, Marja has previously held key positions such as Senior Director of Global Tax Planning and Transfer Pricing and Senior Director of Tax for EMEA, managing complex tax affairs, M&A, and compliance strategies. Prior to Bunge, Marja served as Director of Tax EMEA at Whirlpool, Director of Tax at Unilever overseeing Benelux operations, and Director of Tax Europe at ACN. Earlier career experience includes working as a Manager of Tax at FloraHolland and serving in managerial and advisory roles at Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Marja holds a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Groningen, complemented by executive education from IMD and Nyenrode Business University.
