Entrepreneur In Residence at Bunker Labs

Ricardo Perez is an experienced professional currently serving as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Bunker Labs since July 2020. Prior to this role, Ricardo worked as a Research Scientist in the University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology from March 2021 to June 2022, focusing on sequencing SARS-CoV-2 samples. Ricardo's background includes research assistant positions in both the Environmental Engineering and Chemistry Departments at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where investigations involved carbon nanoparticles and the preparation of chemical reagents, respectively. Additionally, Ricardo has a distinguished military background, having served in the US Army as a Specialist, where contributions included training soldiers and maintaining accountability of equipment. Educational achievements include a PhD in Human Genetics from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, an MS in Entrepreneurship from the UW Foster School of Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
