Mark Nelson has a diverse work experience in the digital product management field. Mark started their career as a Digital Coordinator at Bunnings in 2012, where they were responsible for updating and creating website content, using CRM and CMS programs, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders for various projects. Mark also handled customer queries and created online advertising. Mark achieved success in launching updated websites and creating successful online campaigns. In 2013, they started their own company, Nelson Digital, as an Owner. Mark then returned to Bunnings in 2014, taking on various roles including Digital Coordinator, Senior Digital Product Coordinator, Product Owner, Product Manager, and Senior Product Manager. Currently, they are working as the Digital Product Lead at Bunnings.

Mark Nelson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Games and Interactivity from Swinburne University of Technology, which they attended from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at Monash University from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., Scrum Fundamentals Certified, and Scrum Product Owner Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Mark earned these certifications in 2018.
